Return Policy

The short version: custom items are made specifically for you and can't be returned - but if we get something wrong or your item arrives defective, we will absolutely make it right.

Custom and made-to-order items

Nearly everything we sell - including custom apparel, bulk orders, and official NMMA items - is printed or produced specifically for your order. Because these items are made for you, custom and made-to-order items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded for reasons such as a change of mind, ordering the wrong size, or design choices that were approved before printing.

Please review your proof carefully and check our Fit Guide before ordering. We're happy to answer sizing or artwork questions before anything goes to print.

Defective or incorrect items - we make it right

If your item arrives misprinted, damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, contact us at chris@seedtosewn.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue. Once we confirm the problem, we will replace the item at no cost to you. Replacement is our standard remedy; if a replacement isn't possible, we may offer a refund at our discretion.

What doesn't count as a defect

  • Fit or size preference, when the item matches the size chart and the size ordered
  • Artwork, spelling, colors, or placement that match the proof approved before printing
  • Minor color variation between screens and printed garments
  • Damage caused by wear, washing, or care that doesn't follow the care instructions provided

Stocked (non-custom) items

Non-customized stocked items, such as books, may be returned within 14 days of delivery in new, unused condition with proof of purchase. Contact us before sending anything back - returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted. Buyers are responsible for return shipping unless the return is due to our error. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of our receiving and inspecting the item.

Bulk and business orders

For bulk runs, please verify quantities and inspect your order within 7 days of delivery. Any issues are handled according to the proof and quote approved for your order.

Protecting our small business

We're a small, locally owned shop, and we document orders before they ship. We may require a defective item to be returned to us before a replacement is sent, and we reserve the right to decline claims we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or abusive, including repeated or excessive claims and damage that occurred after delivery. If you have a genuine problem, contact us first - we'd much rather fix it than argue about it.
